NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Veteran major-league third baseman Don Money has been tapped to lead the Triple-A Nashville Sounds in 2009.

The parent club Milwaukee Brewers promoted Money from AA Huntsville, where he served as skipper for four years. He replaces Frank Kremblas, the third-winningest manager in Sounds history who was released at the end of the 2008 season.

Joining the 61-year-old Money on the Sounds coaching staff will be ex-major leaguer Chris Bosio, as pitching coach, and former Huntsville hitting coach Sandy Guerrero, who will serve in the same role with the Sounds.

Money was a four-time American League All-Star during his 16-year career with the Phillies and Brewers, was named Milwaukee's most valuable player in 1974 and '77.
