GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. - Hundreds of people gathered in Moss Wright Park on Saturday afternoon to help celebrate and honor the accomplishments of the Goodlettsville All-Stars Little League Team.

The team's championship run was marked in grand fashion, as all of the 13 young men were paraded through the park in convertibles, and fans lined up to shake their hands and congratulate them on a job well done.

"I'm just a normal kid, just went through an opportunity that probably a million kids could never do, and I'm thankful I get to do that," explained 12-year-old pitcher Luke Brown.

Luke and his teammates were all given engraved watches, rings and plaques as part of their winning the U.S. Little League Championship title.

"He takes it all in, and he's just enjoying the moment," Luke's mom Amy explained about the whole celebration.

The evening wrapped up with a fireworks display to help commemorate the All-Stars' victory.
