BELLEVUE, Tenn.- Community
members held a candlelight vigil Saturday for the family who was murdered in
Bellevue last weekend.
Marylea Jordan, Michelle
Pinkowski, and Jonathan Culpepper were stabbed to death inside their home on
Beech Bend Drive last Sunday. Police arrested Craig Garber,41, their next door
neighbor. They say he was discovered inside the house covered in blood, and he
had self-inflicted stab wounds. A 9-year-old girl was also in the home, but she
managed to escape and get help. She is
being cared for by her aunt and uncle.
The vigil began at 7:00 pm
at the Red Caboose Park on Colice Jeanne Road in Bellevue. Visitation
for 71- year-old Marylea Jordan, 48-year-old Michelle Pinkowski, and
14-year-old Jonathan Culpepper will be Sunday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at
Williamson Memorial in Franklin. A joint funeral is planned for Monday at 11
a.m. at Williamson Memorial.
Garber suffered self-inflicted stab
wounds after the attack on Sunday. He was hospitalized, but police said Garber
will be jailed when his medical condition allows. No motive has been released.
Harpeth Valley Elementary School
started accepting donations for the little girl and other family members at the
Bellevue Pinnacle Bank on Highway 70. Donations can be made to the Harpeth
Valley PTO Burial & Benevolence Fund. Also, supporters can donate to the
Mike and Cynthia Jordan Fund at any Bank of America Branch. All donations will
help cover funeral or other expenses.
