Andrew Jackson Building Declared Uninhabitable, Employees Sent Home
NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Several State Department employees were sent home Wednesday after the Andrew Jackson State building uninhabitable.
Around 10 Wednesday morning, officials said the building lost power and air conditioning. Workers were sent home soon after when it was made clear that power would not be restored during the workday. It was unclear if the electrical issues would be fixed in time for business to resume on Thursday.
