LEBANON, Tenn. - The first night of the Wilson County Fair ended with gunfire and police are still looking for the gunmen.

Lebanon Police said the shooting happened after a fight on the fairgrounds that then spilled out onto Highway 70 Friday night.

"One black male pulled out a weapon and shot four to five times. The white guy, male, that was involved was struck in the back, " said Titus Kelley of the Lebanon Police Department.

The victim was just grazed by the bullet. Police gathered shell casings looking for fingerprints. Fortunately the fair was not very busy at the time of the shooting.

"We have officers out here that do traffic but it was so dead, the officers had already left The traffic was so thin. Rain kept the crowd to a minimum. Apparently there wasn't that many people out here. I'm glad there wasn't that many people out here," said Officer Kelley.

Police are asking for the public's help identifying the shooter.

Authorities also wanted the public to know that they will be out in full force at the fair making sure everyone is safe.
