I-65 Bridge Project In Northern Alabama Begins Monday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Department of Transportation has relayed an Alabama advisory about a Tennessee River bridge project on Interstate 65.

Beginning Monday, weather permitting, a contractor will begin bridge deck maintenance that will cause single-lane closures in each direction, seven days a week. The work is expected to last into early August.

Drivers seeking to avoid long delays are encouraged to detour onto U.S. 31 and use that bridge.
