NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Emergency crews were called to the scene of a possible drowning at a community center pool in Hermitage.

Police received a call about a toddler in distress after falling into a pool on Strombury Drive. Witnesses said that CPR was in progress when police arrived.

Officials said that the child was pulled out of the water quickly and was breathing and alert when emergency crews arrived.  The child was expected to recover.
