COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A rally of motorcycle riders will return to Cookeville in 2014.
According to the Cookeville Herald-Citizen, the Tennessee State H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) decided last week at this year's rally to return in 2014 after meeting next year in Maryville. This year's gathering drew 2,400 participants from 33 states, the paper reported.
Past rallies have been held in Nashville, Chattanooga, Murfreesboro, Maryville, Knoxville and Jackson.
David Prowse, local committee chairman, said the Cookeville area is attractive to bikers because of good riding roads and plentiful activities in the region.
