SMYRNA, Tenn. – Nissan is holding a job fair Saturday to fill 1,000 jobs at their plant in Smyrna.
The fair will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tennessee Career Center on 1313 Old Fort Parkway in Murfreesboro. The automaker wants to fill long-term, full-time positions at the Vehicle Assembly and Electric Vehicle Battery Plant. They include nights, afternoons, weekends, and rotating shifts in several different areas, like assembly/production, material handling, industrial maintenance, tool and die maker, and warehouse/production support.
Pay ranges from $13 to $19 an hour, and include benefits. To qualify for positions, applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.
Candidates are asked to bring their resume and two forms of ID, as well as fill out an application onsite.
