Raven Fitzgerald
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Clarksville mother was charged after an officer responding to an alarm activation discovered her three-year-old son home alone.
Raven Fitzgerald, 22, was charged with child abuse/neglect after she allegedly left her son at home while she was at work.
Police said they were called to the home on Sharpie Drive around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday for an alarm activation. An officer checked the home for evidence of a break-in and found the front door unlocked. He went inside and discovered a three-year-old boy, who told him his mother was at work.
The officer was unable to get anymore information from the boy, and found a phone number to call Fitzgerald.
She came home, and allegedly told the officer that she only intended to leave her son alone for a couple of hours.
She was arrested, and booked into the Montgomery County jail on $1,000 bond.
A friend took custody of the child.
