Body Found In Wooded Area Of Franklin

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – A man's body was found in a wooded area in Franklin on Thursday morning.

It was discovered around 7:30 a.m. Thursday at Lynnwood Way and South Berry Chapel Road.

Fire crews had to use their ladder to get to the body.

According to Sharon Puckett with the Williamson County Sheriff's office, it appears to be a suicide.

The identity of the man was not released.
