NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Prosecutors have dropped patronizing prostitution charges against a Metro Councilman.
Metro Police arrested 33-year-old Metro Councilman Brady Banks at the Spring Hill Suites on Athens Way in February. Officials said Banks met the officer in a hotel room after responding to an escort service ad posted by the police.
In March, Banks' attorney said they'd reached an agreement with prosecutors, in which Banks would take a course in Metro's so-called John School and pay all fines and fees. In return, the DA's office agreed to drop the charges.
