NASHVILLE, Tenn.- From
Music City to the Big Apple, the Nashville Symphony hit the road to play at one
of the country's most celebrated concert halls.
The ensemble packed up
their instruments Friday with their sights set on Carnegie Hall where they'll
play Saturday night for the 2012 Spring for Music Festival.
The Nashville Symphony was
one of six orchestras invited to perform at the New York City festival, which
spotlights ensembles from across the country. Saturday's performance marks the
second time the symphony has played at Carnegie.
