Rapper Wiz Khalifa Cited For Marijuana In Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Rapper Wiz Khalifa has been cited in Nashville and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Officials with the Metro Nashville Police said officers were called to the Holiday Inn at 2613 West End Avenue because of a strong odor of marijuana.

When officers arrived at the hotel the rapper, whose name is Cameron Jibril Thomaz threw an item. Officers retrieved the item they found to be a small bag of marijuana.

Thomaz was in town as part of Vanderbilt University's annual Rites of Spring concert, in which he was the headliner.
