Clarksville-Nashville Express Bus Services Proposed

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- The ride into work could soon be easier for Clarksville residents. The Regional Transportation Authority of Middle Tennessee is considering creating an express bus service from Clarksville to Nashville.

Two public hearings were held Tuesday to discuss the potential route and gauge the public's interest. The Clarksville Transit Authority said it plans to hold an informational meeting on the possible service next month. A date and time for the meeting was not released.

If the express bus service is approved by the RTA board of directors, the service would begin June 1, 2012.
