Two Children Under Endangered Child Alert Found

LEBANON, Tenn. – An Endangered Child Alert for two young siblings has been canceled after they were found safe.

Officials said 4-year-old Danny Scott and 10-year-old Cheyenne Bates were found in Nashville on Tuesday morning with their mother, Cindy Bates. They were en route back to the Lebanon Police Department.

Police said they were to be placed in protective custody on Monday, but their mother, Cindy Bates, had fled the area with them.

Officials did not say why the children were to be placed in protective custody.
