CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A teenage pedestrian struck last week in Clarksville has died from his injuries.

Clarksville police said 17-year-old James Patrick Powers, II, passed away around 5:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police said Powers was hit while crossing Riverside Drive around 6 p.m. Tuesday. Officials said that Powers walked out in front of a pickup truck that was changing lanes.

Powers was taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and remained in critical condition until he passed away.

Police said no charges have been filed, and continue to investigate.
