CLARSKVILLE, Tenn.- It's a shooting that have police searching
for clues. A teenager claims he was shot while walking down the road Saturday
morning.
According to the teenager, he had spent the night with some friends, and he
said he was shot in the lower back when he was walking on Old Ashland City
Road. The victim said he doesn't know who shot him, and police cannot find a
crime scene.
After he was shot, Clarksville Police said the 16-year-old was driven to the
E.R. at Gateway Medical Center by two unknown men in a silver Mitsubishi. A
paramedic saw the victim get out of the Mitsubishi as it pulled up to the
emergency room, and then the vehicle left the hospital.
The victim was flown to Nashville by LifeFlight where he underwent surgery.
He is now in stable condition.
