Teacher Arrested for Sex with Student

GALLATIN, Tenn.- A former teacher who investigators say had sex with a teenager about 20 times is indicted by a grand jury.

Devri DePriest, 25, was a teacher at Rucker-Stewart Middle and was the band assistant at Gallatin High in Sumner County. Investigators say the inappropriate behavior happened in the fall of 2010.

She was arrested this past October. The Gallatin News-Examiner reports DePriest resigned from the school system three days later.
