Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - He's one of Nashville's most sought-after pianists and he happens to be blind. Gordon Mote was born blind, but that hasn't stopped him from performing.

He's known as the pianist to the stars, playing on records for stars like Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, and George Jones.

Mote hosted a benefit concert at Dalewood United Methodist Church on Friday with all the proceeds going to Middle Tennessee Council of the Blind.
