Walmart In Gallatin Re-Opens After Evacuation

GALLATIN, Tenn. – Police evacuated the Walmart in Gallatin while investigating a possible gas leak on Friday morning.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Walmart on Nashville Pike. The Gallatin Fire Department said it turned out that it was not a gas leak, but the smell was coming from an appliance.

The store re-opened within in an hour.
