MAURY COUNTY, Tenn. – A woman was rescued after driving her car off an embankment into a creek in Maury County.
It happened around 9 a.m. Friday on Carter's Creek Pike just past Harlem Road at Carter's Creek, north of Columbia.
Police said the driver, 59-year-old Pamela Morse accidentally ran off the road, overcorrected and went down the embankment into the creek.
Rescue crews helped her out of her car and up the embankment, where she was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
Sky 5 HD watched as a tow truck was able to remove the car from the creek around 10:30 a.m.
