MAURY COUNTY, Tenn. – Police are trying to figure out why more than half a dozen horses died on a farm in Maury County.
The seven horses found dead at a farm in Hampshire were apparently well fed, and not abused. Police said it's unclear how they died, so one will be sent to the Agriculture Department for an autopsy.
Right now, investigators think something may have poisoned the horses.
Three other horses lived on the farm, and appear to be okay.
