Two Breweries To Open In East Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The first breweries in East Nashville will open this spring.

Fat Bottom Brewing and Broadcast Brewing Company both plan to operate out of the old Fluffo Mattress Factory on Main Street. Metro has issued a building permit for the conversion.

A beer garden and restaurant are also planned.

A sign on the door says "East Nashville's First Brewery" and "Opening Spring 2012".

The owner of Fat Bottom Brewing is Ben Bredesen, the son of former Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen.
