California Woman Arrested On Chesney Property

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (AP) -- A California woman has been charged with trespassing on the property of country star Kenny Chesney.

Williamson County authorities said that 32-year-old Melissa Mansfield of Murrieta, Calif., was arrested around 2 a.m. Wednesday in a bathroom near a swimming pool at his hilltop home south of Nashville.

Investigators said she apparently got around a fence surrounding the property.

A publicist for Chesney said he was not at home at the time. Mansfield also was charged with public intoxication.
