NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Police have identified the human bones found over the weekend in Antioch.

Officials used dental records to identify the bones as belonging to 20-year–old Olotu Gbasin, who lived on Owendale Drive.

Police said Gbasin had been reported missing by his father in October and had not been seen or heard from since. According to police, at the time of his death, Gbasin was on probation after receiving a two-year sentence for a July 2010 felony marijuana conviction.

An exact cause of death has not yet been determined. Officials said the staff at the Medical Examiner's Office will continue to examine the remains.

Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact Detective Lee Freeman at (615) 862-7329.
