NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A big premiere of a movie filmed in Middle Tennessee will be held at the Regal Green Hills Stadium on Wednesday night.
The stars will be on the red carpet at 6 p.m. before the 7 p.m. premiere of "Deadline", starring Eric Roberts.
The film is based on real life events that happened in South Carolina when a black teenager was shot and killed, and his murder was never investigated.
The story follows two investigative reporters as they try to solve the murder, which in the movie takes place in the Middle Tennessee and Southern Alabama.
The director and many of the actors will go on a 42-city premiere tour across the United States, beginning right here in Nashville at the Green Hills Regal Cinema.
Proceeds from the Wednesday night premiere will benefit Nashville's Family and Children's Service.
