Posted: Updated:

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – A traffic stop led to a major drug bust near the Middle Tennessee State University campus.

Murfreesboro Police said they stopped a car for having expired tags, and found the driver had prescription drugs in his possession for which he did not have a prescription. That led to the search of the accused drug dealer's apartment on Palmer Drive.

Police discovered powerful, prescription pills, including the type used to treat panic attacks, pills for attention deficit disorder and pills for anxiety. They also found marijuana and more than 23 grams of illegal mushrooms.

Two men were arrested. Their identities were not released.
