GAINESVILLE, Fla.
– Vanderbilt
has won 10 of 12 and is back in the top 25, but life on the road is tough, and
it doesn't get much tougher in the SEC than trips to Arkansas and Florida.
Vanderbilt ran into a
buzzsaw in the second half Tuesday against the Hogs, and Saturday ventured into
the O-Dome in Gainesville to face a Gators squad that had won 18 straight at
home.
Boynton and Beal gave the Commodores a run for their money. Kenny Boynton
scored 18 points, Bradley Beal added 16, and Florida beat Vanderbilt Saturday
73-65, as the Gators make it 19 in a row at home. Meanwhile, Vanderbilt has
lost two games straight.
