Bush Plans Nashville Visit On Thursday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- President Bush plans to travel to Nashville Thursday to discuss federal budget issues and visit a small business.

Bush is scheduled to tour the Nashville Bun Company, which operates an automated production line that sells more than 5 million English muffins a year to clients like McDonald's, Wolferman's, Deli Express and Pepperidge Farm.

Bush also is to deliver a speech at the Gaylord Opryland Resort about his budget priorities.

Bush's last visit to Tennessee was to Chattanooga in February to promote his health care plan. He last visited Nashville in August for a fund-raiser for Bob Corker's successful Senate campaign.
