Local Student Wins On The Price Is Right

A local college student was a contestant on the Price is Right that aired Friday, and she walked away a winner.

Belmont University student Cheryl Bak and several other students watched her big debut on TV.

The episode was taped in December, and Bak was the first winner of the day.

She played Beat the Clock and won a home gym, wall clock, computer desk and $1,000.

When she made it on stage, she had an additional goal in mind.

"I have to kiss Bob Barker. That's what I have to do, kiss Bob Barker," she said.

Bak said it wasn't luck that got her onto the show. During introductions before the show she tried to make herself stand out by creating a rhyme incorporating both Music City USA with Cali-forn-I-A.
