NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The owner of a local sports team could be in trouble with the law.

Ben Eakin runs the Nashville Dream, a women's pro-football team, but it's his work with a youth league that could land him behind bars.

The problems came to light after the youth league performed an internal audit.

Members were concerned because they had no control over the account and they said Eakin wouldn't give them any information about the account.

Murfreesboro police are currently looking into the issue.

No charges have been filed as of yet.

Eakin could not be reached for comment. NewsChannel 5 tried to reach him, but his home and business phones were disconnected.
